If you’ve got some grill time under your belt or just starting out and need some direction, consider taking my Backyard Pitmaster Class. Located in Battle Ground Washington, my classes are a relaxed, affordable, fun, food-filled day to meet other barbecue fans and learn some great information. Did I mention that you’ll eat your way through the day? Oh yes! I’ll cook, you’ll learn, and you’ll EAT! We will discuss meat selection, preparation, cooking times, temperatures, cookers, cooking fuel, wood, and much more. I use Thermoworks, Hasty-Bake Charcoal Grills, Rec Teq Grills, Weber Kettles, Ole Hickory Pits, and Camp Chef smokers and grills. My techniques are adaptable to any cooker you’re using. Space is limited and each class teaches new exciting techniques with meat, sides and appetizers. I don’t stop there though! Each class brings something different and delicious.
