If you’ve got some grill time under your belt or just starting out and need some direction, consider taking my Backyard Pitmaster Class. Located in Battle Ground Washington, my classes are a relaxed, affordable, fun, food-filled day to meet other barbecue fans and learn some great information. Did I mention that you’ll eat your way through the day? Oh yes! I’ll cook, you’ll learn, and you’ll EAT! We will discuss meat selection, preparation, cooking times, temperatures, cookers, cooking fuel, wood, and much more. I use Green Mountain Grill Pellet cookers, Weber Kettles, and Ole Hickory Pits. My techniques are adaptable to any cooker you’re using. Space is limited and each class covers core meat items such as: Beef Brisket, Pork Shoulder Butt, and Pork Ribs. I don’t stop there though!
